The national seminar is one of the sub-events of KSMC6 2021 organized by the mining engineering student association, Faculty of Engineering, Lambung Mangkurat University. This activity aims to provide education about the role of geospatial management in tourism and national mining potential. The main idea of ​​holding this topic is because during the Covid-19 pandemic the role of tourism is very much needed as state income and the role of mining, especially at post-mining times, has the potential as a tourist place.

The purpose of this activity is to provide education about tourism development from the mining sector with management based on geographic information systems to realize specific and comprehensive data presentation so that it can be used by the wider community.

The material discussed is about the role of national tourism in the national and regional economy, post-mining management of a company into a profitable tourist spot for local and local income, and the role of geospatial in advancing tourism potential.
